Review for:
Gameknight999 Series
By: Mark Cheverton
I like this book because you can really connect to it. The main character is Gameknight999 or Tommy. He started in the beginning of the book being a Minecraft bully and griefer. He got happiness at the expense of others. When His father's invention, the Digitalizer took him into Minecraft, he makes friends and find true happiness.
He bullied people in Minecraft because that was the field he was good at and took that as an advantage. But also, he was bullied in school and on the bus. But going through Minecraft, he was able to learn to take advantage of the "Battle field" and he thought things out and planned before things happened so he was able to avoid the bullies more. Another thing is he when he was in Minecraft, he was the one "prophesized to save" Minecraft. Because of that, he had to be the leader, but he had his fears. His best NPC (non-playing character) friend told him to face his "dragon" and conquer his fears. That was what Gameknight999 did and he did conquer his fears and he became a really good leader.
In the second series, his sister Jenny wanted to see for herself if her brother was telling the truth, and also because of curiosity. Tommy had to go back to save his sister because she was somehow stuck as a zombie and he did not want her to die in Minecraft; so he entered the game again.
In the third series, he and his dad got pulled into Minecraft, his friend Crafter was dying and they had to exterminate Herobrine, the villain. They were able to do so but later on, Herobrine got respawned as an Ender Dragon; He was even more powerful and that makes him hard to defeat. Gameknight999 never gave up hope and kept on encouraging others to continue. Then, Herobrine's life essence was in a box called the Ender chest. However, a sound radiated from the box constantly and because of that sound, it drove his friends and companions literally insane and they bickered at every moment. His dad told him to take a breath every time before he spoke especially under these circumstances.

Seems like you like Minecraft! The story seems pretty interesting. I don't know anything about Minecraft, but you should read the other books about Minecraft if you are interested in them.
ReplyDeleteI DO. I HAVE LIKE 14 MC BOOKS AND I WANT MORE
DeleteHAI THIS IS NORMAL
WHOA WHY ARE YOU IN CAPS LOCK?!!!!
DeleteUM IDK
DeleteWow, this book sounds pretty interesting. I like how you wrote the summary, the detail of it makes me want to read it. How many books are there in this series? (If there are anymore). Also, what did you think of the ending?
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks, for the summary, I don't just look on the back of the book. Instead I try to let the reader of my thing relate to it and um yeah. :P
ReplyDeleteThere is so far nine books in this series (the author is still writing more) and I have all of the books. If you want to borrow it, tell me in class and I give you the first book! XD
xD Whats wrong with griefing?
ReplyDeleteWhat I mean is bullying is not okay. A really big minecraft gamemode called Factions is based around raiding bases. Sure it isn't great when you get raided but then you just relocate. Another thing is that griefing is what you do on pvp servers.
DeleteThis kind of griefing is basically bullying.
